Chiang Mai Elephant Home Visit (Oct '19)

While we were in Chiang Mai, we wanted to visit an elephant sanctuary, Chiang Mai Elephant Home. Some organizations/companies have come under criticism for the way they treat the elephants, so we tried to find a place that was kid friendly, and had a good reputation for how they handled their elephants. This place did do more of a hands-on activity than we wanted, bathing the elephants, but we were able to opt out and they didn't allow riding the elephants, so that was good. The company picked us up from our hotel and off we went.

Someone was a little tired on the way home. :) He missed the gorgeous views. 

Well, I only have about 1023 more pictures I could post, but these are good sampling. :) It was definitely an interesting experience, and one I'm glad we were able to do. Now off to the next adventure!
