Khlong Lat Mayom Floating Market

Image
October 2019 While Colt's dad was visiting, we decided to check out the Khlong Lat Mayom Floating Market. There aren't really authentic floating markets anymore in Bangkok, but this one still had plenty of charm. There were a few boats selling food from the water, but for the most part, the vendors were on land. We took a canal boat tour that stopped by an orchid farm and a temple on the water. For lunch, we decided to share a grilled salted fish, a popular dish in the area. It was quite delicious! Here is a video compilation of our boat ride and some pics. I am learning that I need to make sure my phone is horizontal when recording vdieo. 😀I'm getting there!

Now off to the ne...

The flight was only 1.5 hours. :) We rented a car and headed to our hotel. We dropped off our bags and headed out to the Sunday Night Market for some people watching and food.    .
